Our projects generally include four benchmarks:
A vision of the future in terms of vocation, mission defined by our associations and coordinated by our foundation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
A desire to achieve this end which involves all the members in the very definition of the project
A system of shared cultural values, that is to say elements to which our associations give their preferences, recognize each other and guide their choices.
Priorities and major axes for actions indicating objectives corresponding to the primary missions of each association.
The associative project of the IPOMA association is a written document, distributed, which must meet the standards, converge the aspirations of the members and gives rise to a very wide consultation within the working group.
The final document should be:
Clear
Easy reading access
Neat and eye-catching in its form
1) Presentation of the association:
Principles, values and vocation of the association
Territory of intervention
Actors (beneficiaries, internal and external actors, partners, etc.)
2) Strategic orientation and objectives:
Strategy chosen for the whole association
Medium-term outlook
General short-term objectives
Strategy by homogeneous business area
3) Functioning of the association adapted to this strategy:
(possible action plans)
Structures
Means
Methods of realization
Expected results
4) Fundamental questions to ask:
Defining the associative project means wanting to provide answers to essential questions, in particular:
What does the association want to serve and what justifies its priorities in a specific environment?
What is the social demand today and in the medium term?
What strategies to consider in a defined territory?
What practical objectives does the association set for itself?
What skills, methods, resources are needed?
What means must be mobilized to meet the needs, and with what progress?
Which partners to work with?
